Right now I am about 49" wide in the front and need to get down to around 46" to make it through most Michigan trails. Anyone running this kind of a setup? What is the offset I am looking for? Thanks..

What are you running now? I think as good as it gets are the 4.0 +1.0 for narrowing the front.

Your Baja wheels that you have in the pics with the JD arms / sand tires are 3.0 +2.0. If you measure 49" on those, switching to a 4.0 +1.0 wheel would get you down to 47" in the front.

You might have to step down to some +1 / +1.5 arms to get down to 46".

I'm at 47" and it's trail worthy ... I wouldn't wanna be any wider. I only have to slow down in tight sections but most of the time, the width is no problem.

I could deal with 47", its just this 49" wont work. I am 49" with the stock wheels and tires. So who is the best to get these rims from? I looked at RMATV and they dont seem to have them.

Ugh... stock wheels are like +1.5. you're only going to lose about an inch (down to 48") with some 4.0 +1.0 wheels.

You can get hipers in that offset

The stock wheels are close to that. They are 10 x 5.5 and the offset seems to be 4.0 + 1.5.

Basically the stock wheels are 0.5" wider per side than a 4.0 +1.0

Not the cheapest option, but stepping down to +1 arms would put you right at 46-47ish with the stock wheels. I just measured mine on stock arms and it's almost dead on 44".

I'm 47" wide on my sand tires (4.0 +3.0 wheels).

I run th jd+2 arms and the hiper 4+1 wheels. Its a great setup for the trails.I squeeze thru the tightest of trails.Hiper,ITP and i believe douglas makes the 4+1 wheels. But i don't think rocky carries other than the 3+2 offset itp and douglas. And then adjust your rear axle so your rear is 1/2 narrower than the front. And there are many benefits of going to a 4+1 wheel on the trails.

Here's a link for ITP 4+1 wheels on Dennis Kirk

Thanks Jamie.. I am going to remeasure where I am tonight with the stock wheels but I thought they were 49". No matter what I need to do something, I am just to wide for trails right now and I really dont want to change the arms..

Im 45.5 with 4-1 Hipers and +.5 A arms and im 47.25 approx with + 1 Arms and 3-2 Hipers.......I would aim for 47, but 46.5 is about ideal among most XC Riders
